IgG Food Explorer™ – Interpretive Guide
What is IgG Food Explorer?
The IgG Food Explorer™ is a multiplex food sensitivity test that measures total IgG antibodies to 283 food antigens. It provides insights into gut-related and extraintestinal symptoms and helps practitioners design individualized elimination diets.
Quantifying IgG Antibodies
The IgG Food Explorer is a quantitative test that measures total IgG antibodies to specific food antigens, including raw, organic extracts and molecular antigens for dairy and wheat.
Antibody response to foods is exposure-based, so regular consumption is necessary for accurate results. Elevated antibodies indicate an IgG-mediated immune response. Foods are categorized by color: green for low IgG, yellow for intermediate, and red for highly elevated IgG. The report quantifies the individual antibody result to provide greater insight into the immune response within each category.
