Dysbiosis & Inflammation: Connecting the Dots with Cytokine Profiling
Attend Our Upcoming Webinar Featuring Tom Fabian, PhD, CNTP
Dysbiosis is thought to contribute to chronic inflammatory and autoimmune conditions by altering immune responses. Cytokines play critical roles in mediating immune responses, and increased levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines have been linked to chronic inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
Recent advances in technology have made it possible to assess a wide range of serum cytokines in a single assay, referred to as cytokine profiling. Cytokine profiling – especially when combined with advanced stool analysis – helps clinicians connect the dots regarding patient health status by providing an unprecedented level of detail into gut dysfunction and immune responses.
Presented by Tom Fabian, PhD, CNTP:
Tom is a functional nutrition practitioner, consultant, educator, speaker, and former research scientist.
